Are Electronic Cigarettes really Safe?

December 23, 2008

Developed in China in 2004, the electronic cigarette is sold there and in numerous other countries, including Brazil, Canada, Finland, Israel, Lebanon, the Netherlands, Sweden, Turkey and the United Kingdom.

Electronic cigarettes share some aspects of there traditional counterparts, such as appearance, feel and taste of a normal cigarette. But the differences are substantial in that the "safe cigarette" gets it’s name because it produces none of the negative aspects of traditional smoking like tar, ignition (heat), up to 4000 types of chemical additives that often lead to respiratory and cardiac system diseases, nor the carcinogenic effects of traditional cigarettes.

Although electronic cigarettes also referred to as the "safe cigarette, the e-cigarette, and the smokeless cigarette but WHO knows of no evidentiary basis for the marketers’ claim that the electronic cigarette helps people quit smoking. Indeed, as far as WHO is aware, no rigorous, peer-reviewed studies have been conducted showing that the electronic cigarette is a safe and effective nicotine replacement therapy.

Adding to the safety benefits, the electronic cigarette to some extent has also been proven as a way for smokers to quit the habit, as the level of nicotine can be carefully monitored, thus giving the smoker the option of gradually lowering the level until he/she can quit without fear of withdrawals. Most electronic cigarette refill cartridges are available in full, medium, light and none, and while electronic cigarettes are not yet approved as smoking cessation devices, the potential for the devices to be used as such is somewhat obvious.

It’s recommended that people who have demonstrated a sensitivity or allergy to nicotine, pregnant or breastfeeding, or who have unstable heart conditions should discuss the use of an electronic cigarette device with a doctor before using one. Additionally, electronic cigarettes may not be used by anyone under the legal smoking age in your state.

WHO does not discount the possibility that the electronic cigarette could be useful as a smoking cessation aid. The only way to know is to test.

Auricular Magnets -new quit smoking aid

December 18, 2008

New quit smoking aids New quit smoking aid ZeroSmoke and ZeroStress help to stop smoking without patches, pills, and gum. The new quit smoking system contenes from:

  • 1 Set of 24K Gold Plated Auricular Magnets
  • All-Natural Non-Allergenic Auricular Therapy
  • Easy To Use Anywhere
  • 1 set Lasts a lifetime
  • BONUS 30 Day Supply of ZeroStress Anti Stress Supplement

Auricular Magnets are applied to specific accupressure points to release endorphins, and stamp out your cravings so you can quit smoking for good.

The magnets should be used from a minimum of 3 hours to a maximum of 4 hours a day. If possible, use at home or at a time when you are calmest. For example, in the evening after eating until you go to bed. The magnets are two different sizes. The smaller magnet is placed in front of the ear and the larger behind the ear. You do NOT make a hole in the ear.

The inherent property of the magnets keeps them in place by attraction, and there is no risk of them falling off. This process is carried out for 6 to 7 days during which you can continue to smoke normally. On the seventh day, if you have not already done so, stop smoking. You will find it very easy to stop smoking because the magnets have already induced the production of endorphins that remove the craving to smoke.

Continue to use the magnets for 20 to 25 days and follow the instructions and advice given in the manual QUIT.

We recommend you start with ZeroStress at least 14 days prior to your scheduled quit date. The compounds in ZeroStress are formulated to reduce stress and curb cravings. So you may find your cravings for nicotine reduced and smoking less as the date approaches. Continue using ZeroStress for 60-90 days after you quit (or as needed).
