Everybody knows that smoking is very injurious and even the tobacco manufacturing companies have now begun to admit the harmful effects of smoking.

Over the past few years dedicated research has been done to develop methods which will help people quit smoking. Smoking is not only dangerous to the smokers but also to their friends and family members who are affected by the exhaled smoke.

There are many different effective ways to quit smoking.

These different ways can range from herbal remedy to hypnosis. However, not all of these different ways will work the same for everybody.

In order to quit smoking, there are to main factors that you have to beat, the nicotine addiction and the psychological addiction.

Any steps that you choose in order to quit smoking must address these two factors in order to be successful. Below you can see five best ways to quit smoking.

The first way is by weaning yourself out of the nicotine addiction by using nicotine replacement products like nicotine gum or patches. These products can be easily purchased even over internet.

The fifth way is by forming a support system with a friend or loved one that doesn’t smoke. They will be able to hold you accountable and you won’t feel the need to smoke as much when you are around other non-smokers.
